General Information:
FSX was formed in June 1999 and specializes in specific various filtration media for use in industrial applications. As an offshoot FSX offered a popular service of cleaning and extending the life of filters. When the diesel particulate filter (DPF) began to appear on diesel transit buses in the Northwest, it was not long before these filters began to fail and plug. The problem with DPF failure was that the cost of replacement and resulting downtime could add up to many thousands of dollars. FSX was called upon to research a solution for this problem while using any and all methods to clean the DPF and keep the buses running.
The TrapBlaster 7 was the cleaning technology that evolved from this effort. The TrapBlaster dramatically extended the life and duty cycles of the diesel particulate filters in the transit buses and later in a wide range of diesel engine applications. Word spread about the FSX Trapblaster and soon original equipment engine manufacturers were investigating and subsequently adopting the TrapBlaster 7 as the recommended tool for routine cleaning of diesel particulate filters. Today FSX DPF service tools are used worldwide with over 600 in use in North America alone. The FSX reputation for customer satisfaction, durability, and customer responsiveness is unsurpassed since delivery of the first FSX system in February 2008.
